In Vs.7, there are 2 key words Melt/refine and try— the Hebrew word used for melt/refine here is “Tsaraph” and it means to Refine which is defined as To purify or improve something by removing impurities or enhancing quality. The Hebrew word used for try/test is “Bachan” and it means to examine, test for authenticity or prove something quality —— Psalm 66:10-12 says “For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs. You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.” — do we see that what looks like punishment is not really punishment? It is purification to reveal glory, take away impurities, make them better and just like gold, purification is through fire so our refining is also through means of suffering like Job, Joseph; some will think they are perfect so GOD will test them to reveal their imperfections so they can work on it. —— that tough situation might be GOD’s mercy to avoid total condemnation. GOD still calls them my people, so it’s not rejection. Vs.23&24 we should not glory in wisdom, might, riches but in our understanding and knowledge of GOD, brethren let us rejoice, and be happy and continue to grow in the knowledge of GOD.

@Eyitope Hmmm, we can call that going through the process, not punishment. It is to bring them to a better place. A place of reconciliation not destruction. If you don’t go through the process you will not value or appreciate the result. You will think it’s that easy.

@Eyitope When hard times or trials come, instead of complaining, we can view them as God's refining fire, designed to remove the "dross" in our lives and make us more righteous.

While reading this it just occurred to me that this is what you get when we have relationship with God. Not Jeremiah and God having inside gist. They are doing q and a😊. Relationship brings us to that place of intimacy and you know the secret thing l. Imagine God telling you stuffs brother happen. What a privilege. But that won’t just come like that you have to go through the process. What does it take? constant fellowship with him definitely. God will bring us to that place of intimacy in Jesus name.

@Faithful I can’t just meet someone one day or on time and start downloading my life to them. We have to build that relationship definitely before we can become vulnerable with each other, before I start to tell them some part of me. “So emphasis on building relationships first”.

@Faithful so what does it take for you personally to be able to download your life to someone eventually? I mean how do we build relationship and can it happen overnight ?

@Eyitope No, I don’t believe that can happen overnight. And how we do we do that, it’s true constant communication and building trust. So with God I would say constant fellowship with him, and when God is able to trust you that at this so so time you will show up and you did show up.
