Even being filled with the Holy Spirit and doing personal prayer since, these people still went to the temple…. This is what I was telling a friend that says can he do personal growth and not go to church, even Jesus was visiting the temple.
The profound thing the healing of this lame man for me is peter saying “what I do have” Peter has a knowing of revelation, he knows the name is not just a name, he’s likely the first to use the name so it’s not like he’s doing copy copy (they didn’t use Jesus name while He was with them I believe). So do I know what I have? Do you ?
See the courage Peter preached with after exercising faith! We see it’s not just by calling the name, first you need to know the name (Jesus) and secondly, have faith…… Just to point this out, do we see GOD promise to Abraham ? - “And in your seed shall all families of earth be blessed”. It doesn’t say “And your seed” meaning the blessing is extended for as many that are IN Abraham seed. That’s why Jesus was saying “is it good that this woman being Abraham daughter be bound” (we should remember the story in Luke 13:10).

One thing I learnt is that life with Holy Spirit changes everything about us.
Imagine, same person that debuted the times is now the one facing the crowd… WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST.

I like what both of you said. But to add to what @Eyitope said , first you have to know what you have, what you carry. Peter said “such as I have” he knew what he had that was he was able to put it to use by giving it out.
Let’s know that what we don’t have we cannot give out, it is what you have that you will give out.
This is a call to contend for more.
What can you I(you) give to people???? What do I have to offer???🤔🤔🤔
Another thing that stood out was how the lame man story changed. From being a lame man for 40year to someone that can now walk. In a moment of time.
I pray the lord will visit us and change our story for good in Jesus name.
