It’s devastating to know that some are still waiting for their messiah to come 🤦🏾‍♂️ and some of us have been in Paul’s situation before where we condemn some people, like people preaching on the streets, those speaking in tongues, people falling under anointing, those that pay tithes, those that are Holy and won’t do some things with us! But look at yourself now 🌝🤭 we know better now, I believe, and some will condemn us too like “are they Jesus PA ?” Yes, Infact I’m joint heirs with Christ! This is to say persecution will come, just like Paul was facing and what I realized is sometimes, it’s due to ignorance, veil covering their eyes, that’s why just like Paul we must continue to witness to people and pray that they turn to Christ - of course we don’t pray for them to be put in chains like Paul 😂 (I saw what Paul did there)……. Despite in prison, Paul still trying to win souls for Christ, the very reason why he was there in the first place. Again it’s our responsibility to preach but it’s the Holy Spirit that convicts, Paul didn’t say to Agrippa, I will complete the persuasion! He said he’s taking it to GOD, ours is just to plant the seed.

@Eyitope Hmmm, I was going to say this, all we need is to sow the seed, and just leave the rest for God to handle, it is not our place to start persuading, just put them into prayer. I don’t think King Agrippa would ever forget those words of Paul, because for him to think it through to the point of conversion it had done a lot in him. Another, I realize here is how obedience is tied to constant help of God and God being with you at all time, imagine God telling you to do something first time you did not do it, second you did not move, third you did not answer, he would move on to another who is willingly, and humanly speaking too let’s think about it if you send someone an errand and the person is not making steps won’t you go for yourself or maybe send another?? Yo7 would definitely do. But Paul was obedient to the core and God was with him and in verse 22 he said having obtained help from God to this day he Stand. And I just remember that people like king Saul, and King Nebuchadnezzar too, the presence of the lord departed them, although for king Nebuchadnezzar it was for a while. So Obedience assures constant help from God.

@Eyitope while reading this chapter my brain was just thinking different things. I totally agree that sowing the seed is our biggest priority.

So it’s interesting that every time I read about Paul’s encounter testimony and I read this part in verse 15 where he replied who are you, Lord??? I cannot but think that, so all along Paul knew there’s was a God but he cannot just come to that acceptance and was doing all he was doing intentionally and I just think about the atheists that we have today, somewhere in them there know there’s God but they don’t just want to believe it which is very demonic. A randomly watched a show where they were guessing the atheist, where they gather some Christian and then 2 atheist and they all claiming to be Christian’s, but they need to figure out who those atheists are to win. So if you see how 2 of them were speaking about God and how marvelous he is and everything, I was just wondering then when you are speaking of him this way and how he has came through for you, why are you not believing???? It’s demonic😂, because I don’t just know how best to explain that.

As I read through this chapter, I see a man who believes what he believes and stands by it at different points of understanding. I imagine that Paul’s early life was lived according to his understanding at that time, he thought he was living to please God, not knowing he was living in opposite directions until his conversion which he recounted in vs 13-18 So it brought me to the thinking 🤔; are there beliefs I am holding on to because of my understanding and saying I can live and die by them because I believe it’s the truth of the word of God, which in actual fact I need an encounter to understand and believe rightly? Today, I am praying to the Lord, to reveal myself to me, Amen.
