    Vs 22 === O Lord, teach me to hear from you clearly. I definitely know that if I am to embark on a journey and God reveals to me that if I go, I would meet trials and persecutions, I definitely know I won’t continue on that journey because I would say “That is a message from God that I should not go” PRAYER POINT- O Lord, teach me to hear from you clearly and with fullness of heart.

    @#Avatar_TEA I ask myself that question too How can one know hardship and imprisonment await him and he is excited about it. He does not really care about his life again. His goal is for Jesu ls to be seen. And another thing there is the advantage of the Holy Spirit he had revealed them to him, that is why we have to constantly fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

    Imagine sitting in a dangerous place and sleeping off, then falling from the 3rd story, it’s a miracle that he was alive. Paul was living like a dead man, he reckoned his old life dead and his new life alive in Christ so what matters to him is eternity, doing the Lord’s work, not just doing but finishing with Joy, his life does not matter to him because he travels like he has no other things to do, he only cares for the people to be saved therefore teaching them all he knows. I see Paul as a pastor (shepherd), evangelist, and a teacher but there’s so much difference between him and our pastors nowadays, while he was with the church, wolves dare not come around because he was moving everywhere reminding them and teaching them and he was always ready to set the record straight so no one could perverse the gospel, he worked hard not taking from the church but giving to the church by supporting the weak. We all know reverse is the case today, some pastors will even take from the weak, talk people into giving their silver and golds, live extravagant lives. Only few pastor can boast like Paul did here, I pray GOD Help us.

    @Eyitope Amen! The book of Acts has kept me reflecting on what my role is in the body of Christ. It has also left me wondering how I am supposed to live. My prayer today is God help me!

    @Eyitope Ministry is a call to be hardworking not to be lazy and a call to support the weak not to exploit them. What about the people that will say God had called them and leave their job without having a plan for it, they should learn from Paul oo, he was a minister of the gospel and working at the same time, I wonder what time he died to work self because of how he is fully dedicated to the gospel, teaching morning to night and all. I pray God will give us the wisdom to navigate ehatbhe has placed in our hand.

    I foundit interesting that God gave everyone a purpose for life. Some discovered theirs early in life some later. But what for i learnt here is no time is late. The question is are we fulfiling Gods purpose for our life just like saul

    That guy fell asleep and fall to death, Paul was like “nice try, I still have more sermon to preach you are not going anywhere”, then he raises him from the dead.

    @Moshood it’s the confidence in which he did it for me. No panic, no fear. He planted confidence in the people. O LORD, make me a leader just like Paul that even in difficult situations, i would not loose hope.

    We can see from Vs 24 that Preaching the gospel was more important to Paul than his life. May God help us, this spiritual journey is not for the weak, that’s why we need Jesus to scale through.
